New Op Ads for Walmart Featuring Stars From 'Twilight,' 'Glee' and More! (Videos)

Posted on March 31, 2010 - 3:03pm by terra Today Walmart unveiled its Spring 2010 marketing campaign, titled "Rock Your Shine," for its Op® clothing brand.  The campaign stars actress Jessica Szohr of the CW's Gossip Girl, R&B singer Cassie, actors Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith of the Fox hit show Glee, actor Alex Meraz of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse and actor Trevor Donovan of the CW's 90210.

The national campaign will debut this spring in fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazines such as Elle, Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Cosmopolitan, and through Op's outdoor and online marketing.

The ads feature the cast of hot young celebrities at a block party, hanging out in a hammock, barbecuing and getting ready to go surfing.  Very impressive considering Walmart has been the LAST place teenagers would consider doing their wardrobe shopping.  This campaign could turn its 'uncool' image around.

The Op celebrities are wearing the shine-inspired spring Op collection in the campaign, which is exclusively available at Walmart in the U.S. and online to www.walmart.com.  The celebrities will also host an Op party in Los Angeles in late April and make appearances on behalf of the brand.
