Paula Abdul Tangos With The Possibility Of Dance Show On NBC
Yes--our beloved Paula Abdul once danced for the LA Lakers and she even choreographed a few Janet Jackson videos. So it's only natural that NBC would want to ride the wave of Paula's American Idol success by giving her a show, particularly a dance show. Dance shows themselves have totally risen to popularity--from Dancing With The Stars to So You Think You Can Dance. And there is no one more qualified to host a dance show let alone judge talent then Paula Abdul.
She was always the positive, supportive voice that American Idol contestants turned to for some encouragement while the viewers adored her. That combined with NBC's track record for reality show success could mean a huge hit. The network currently features America's Got Talent, The Biggest Loser and Last Comic Standing. The dance show would feature Paula and choreographer Kenny Ortega of Highschool Musical fame.
