Brittany Murphy's Death Certificate has been released, official cause of death is under investigation. The space that would say one of the following: accident, natural, homicide, suicide and undetermined, instead says "pending investigation." The immediate cause of death says, "deferred." The corner must wait until toxicology and tissue test results come back from the lab. This normally takes 6 weeks.
You can view the actual document at TMZ.com. Noticeably absent is her father's name. It just reads "unknown" which is not true from what is understood, her father is Angelo Bertolotti. Even though he did not attend her funeral and they were not on speaking terms before she passed away on December 20th.
