The Muppets Will Be Presenting At The 84th Academy Awards on Sunday!
This year’s Academy Awards just got a little more interesting. While a campaign started to get the one and only Muppets to host this year’s most prestigious award show, producers decided to do the next best thing – have them present! Yes, according to the Huffington Post, Kermit and his lady love Miss Piggy will be presenting at the 84th Annual Academy Awards!

A press release states the exciting news, saying, “Hollywood icons Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy will present at the 84th Academy Awards…Their place in motion picture and television history has been cemented for decades, as evidenced by their well-deserved invitation to be presenters at this year’s Academy Awards ceremony.”
It seems like the Oscars are working on putting on a pretty lively show by having these two crazy characters present, and also bringing in Cirque du Soleil to perform. The big show will air this Sunday, February 26th with Billy Crystal as the host.
