Katy Perry Restores Her Maiden Name

Russell Brand may not be walking away from his marriage to singer Katy Perry with any of her money, but he's walking away with his name.

In the divorce documents acquired by TMZ, Katy checked the box stating, "Respondent's former name be restored to." Then specified that her name be restored as Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson.

So far, the Brand/Perry split appears to be the most amicable divorce ever in Hollywood, as both parties aren't dragging each other's names through the mud and have peacefully divided their assets. Katy even signed her divorce papers with a smiley face.
