Much like the 2002 "Spider-Man" film that starred Tobey Maguire as the Marvel superhero, "The Amazing Spider-Man" explores how Peter Parker became a web-slinger — though the events that lead up to Parker’s transformation are different this time around. It has also been noted that this particular Spider-Man tells a slightly darker story.
The very fantastic Emma Stone stars opposite Garfield in the film, and judging by the trailer you can see the duo has great on-screen chemistry! (Translated from their real life relationship we assume!)
