Sarah Hyland: All Grown Up at the Emmys

Modern Family star Sarah Hyland is no stranger to awards shows, but with each show she seems to get more and more mature!  The 20-year-old hit the red carpet at the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday night at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre looking fab as ever.

Hyland not only rocked the red carpet, but spoke with E! News' Guiliana Rancic about a recent controversy she sparked with Glee star Lea Michele.  While on E!'s Fashion Police, Hyland did an impersonation of Lea's red carpet post, which led to some anger by Gleeks everywhere.  "They are very protective over her and I didn't mean it in any harm at all," Hyland explained. "When Joans Rivers asks, 'What does she look like on the red carpet?, you do it!'  She's hilarious and it was just in jest and that was it.  I hate that it's gotten to such a level.  She knows how to work it and I can't do what she does!"

After the young star said her peace, she could focus on the most important task of the night - working the red carpet!  Hyland wore a one-sleeved, coral Christian Siriano with a slit up one side that showed off her silver heels.  She wore coral-colored lipstick to match the dress, with her hair in curls completing the look.

Hyland also had a reason to celebrate at last night's awards show, as her show Modern Family took home the big award for Outstanding Comedy Series, as well as several other individual awards.
