Backstage With Badgley Mischka During NYFW 2011!
Hollywire caught up with the dynamic duo, Mark Badgley and James Mischka who make up the sophisticated and Hollywood glamorous styles of, Badgley Mischka. Just moments before their stylish evening wear hit the catwalk at New York Fashion Week and Courtesy of M.A.C Cosmetics, I headed backstage to chat with the fellas about their colorful Spring 2012 Collection!

The talented duo have been hailed by Vogue as one of the "Top 10 American Designers." Their designs have made appearances at many red carpet events worn by an array of "A-list" celebrities. The designers VIP list of adorners include Hollywood fashion icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Madonna, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Sara Jessica Parker and the list truly goes on.
Pretty impressive, right? Our girls MK&A were even the faces of an ad campaign for the line, back in 2006!
When it comes to their much anticipated Spring 2012 Collection, the fellas told Hollywire exclusively, "It's about colors and it's about structure for us. It's about color from 1950's movies from Douglas Sirk melodramas. Written on the wind, Magnificent obsession." Mark continued, "The title of the collection is called Magnificent Obsession. It's about color, saturation of color and it's also about movement."
