Best friends Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato laughed their way down the blue carpet at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday August 7th -- held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California.

The former Disney darlings both chose dress shades of yellow for the much anticipated "surfs up" award show. Gomez looked glamorous per usual in a mini golden Erin Fetherston dress which she paired with strappy Brian Atwood heels. Lovato looked stunning in a BCBG dress perfectly paired with Christian Louboutin heels.

Both ladies are up for an impressive amount of Teen Choice Awards. Selena, who's performing with her band, The Scene, is nominated for Choice Summer Music Star, Choice Music Group, Choice Summer Movie Star, and Choice TV Actress in a Comedy.

Demi is nominated for Choice TV Actress in a Comedy, Choice Twit, Choice Summer Song, and Choice Summer Music Star!
