Beachy Meets Brazilian Boho!

The 4th annual O'Neill Generation Next
fashion competition is well underway! We've met our five finalists, but
now it's time to see the inspiration behind their dress and handbag
creation.
The winner of the fashion competition will have her design featured as part of O'Neill's Spring 2012 collection!
Nahal Yashar is using a variety of elements for her design: pulling a little from Boho, beachy and Brazilian aesthetics!

What factors played a part in forming your inspiration board?
My love for Boho, Beachy and Brazilian [a]esthetics. I wanted make my inspiration board bold in color and different - not typical.
How does your design represent you “as a designer?”
My design represents me as “a designer” because it has cool prints and it is trendy with a unique twist.
Have
you started thinking about building your team yet -- from marketing and
modeling to runway production? Any fun ideas to share?
I
am still figuring out who my team members and models will be, but I
know I want them to be knowledgeable in Fashion and a stable support
system the night of the event. I am being very careful and taking this
extremely seriously, so I want my team to do the same.
For my show I want it to be vibrant, fun and upbeat. No one wants to watch a show with elevator music.
