The funny fellas of MTV's reality show, The Buried Life -- hit the 'black carpet' at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards... dressed as ladies!? It's the truth. The guys put on their "best" dresses and heels with determination of snagging a spot on the 'best dressed' roster (as part of their list of things to accomplish). Would you expect anything less from them!?

The fine fellas which include Ben Nemtin, Dave Lingwood, Duncan and Jonnie Penn looked lovely as can be as they strutted their best girly look -- and even stopped to chat with Hollywire all about their get-up! The guys shared with us that the inspiration behind their snazzy ensemble was the movie "Sex and the City, Part II." And more specifically they told us they sought style inspiration from Barbra Streisand's 80's self! Are 80's styles making a comeback that we were unaware of?
TBL main man, Ben Nemtin told us another component that plays a big part in their motivation to take home the best dressed award comes from their mothers, "Our moms said we couldn't do it, so we wanted to prove them wrong."
