Miley Cyrus Gets New Tattoo in Support of Gay Marriage
Miley Cyrus has gotten her seventh tattoo, and this time she chose a symbol to show her support for gay rights.
The 18-year-old starlet tweeted a picture of her new ink on Friday, writing, "All LOVE is equal." Miley quickly received a flood of replies after posting the photo, and in response to a follower who disagreed with her, she wrote, "Where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn't. GOD is the only judge honey. 'GOD is love'."

The follower explained the objection by citing a Bible verse, which then caused a handful of angry Miley fans to launch into attack mode. Miley tried to call off the negative tweets, writing, "Dude everyone lay off @MileyCyrusLuver Love u! Everyone is entitled 2 opinions! 'if u don't stand 4 something you'll fall for anything.'" Miley later added, "For the record!! @MileyCyrus DIDN'T make me cry. She was just replying back. Don't blame her. What made me cry was the death threats."
Miley's latest body art is on her ring finger, and her other ink includes the words "Just Breathe" on the left side of her chest, the outline of a heart on her pinky, a cross on the inside of her ring finger, the word "LOVE" on the inside of her ear, and a dream catcher on the right side of her ribcage, which she acquired earlier this year.
And this isn't the first time she's spoken out to raise awareness for gay rights! Back in May, Miley slammed Urban Outfitters for donating money to Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum's past campaigns and tweeted, "'IF WE ALLOW GAY MARRIAGE NEXT THING U KNOW PEOPLE WILL BE MARRYING GOLD FISH' – Rick Santorum UO contributed $13,000 to this mans campaign.” When one of Santorum's supporters heckled the former Hannah Montana star, she shot back, "I don't have 'alot of heart' cuz im not gonna be a closed minded hypocrite? LOVE IS LOVE. GOD IS LOVE.”
