MTV Movie Awards Fashion & Red Carpet Survival Kit!
It was all about funky fashion and red carpet glam at this years MTV Movie awards -- the award show you can count-on celebs bringing the most unique and fashion forward looks of the year! Lucky for us, Hollywire's own Katie Krause and Chelsea Briggs were front and center on the red carpet to get a close look at which styles absolutely rocked!
Chatting with the celebs about fashion, we also got the dish on which essential items are a must to have on-hand in order to survive the hectic-ness that is the trendy MTV red carpet! Check out the video below and tell us which celeb's style you envy the most!?

Our vote for best dressed goes to Emma Watson who stunned the crowd in a white Marchesa dress that shimmered from head to toe. The gals of the hit show Pretty Little Liars -- Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson and Troian Bellisario, also turned heads as they made their way down the red carpet looking flawless as can be!

With the stars looking as fabulous as they did, Katie and I couldn't but help ask what it took for them to get red carpet ready! Their response of how long it took ranged from a couple of hours, to a couple of weeks! Teen Wolf star and Hollywood newcomer, Holland Roden claimed she started getting ready last Monday and prepped with the essentials, "Top-stick to avoid a malfunction, a lot of makeup, lots of cleansing." She continued, "I think for your first award show comfort can not be a factor, but after this I'm wearing flats and billowing dresses from now on!"

And topping the list as the most important items needed to survive the MTV Movie Awards red carpet include: Chap-stick, lip-gloss, powder and mints! Brunette beauty and actress who stars opposite Taylor Lautner in the much anticipated flick, Abduction -- was very specific about her red carpet needs, "The Olay wipes! The oil wipes are amazing and a red carpet must!"

The fashion we saw on Sunday was great, and we definitely loved it, but we do have to admit we wish there was more of a 'shock factor' when it came to taking risks with funky fashion. I suppose we will have to wait for the MTV Video Music Awards in September!
