VersaEmerge: SXSW Band We Adore!
VersaEmerge is a three-piece alternative rock band that here at Hollywire we've found ourselves sorta obsessed with! Lucky for us we recently caught up with them in Austin, Texas during SXSW Music Festival.
Sierra Kusterbeck and Blake Harnage sat down with our own Chelsea Briggs at one of the hottest restaurants, TenOak to chat music and to give an acoustic performance! Check out this exclusive interview and tell us how much you may or may not be obsessed with this fun and quirky band!

Currently signed to the label Fueled by Ramen they have been compared to label mates Paramore, mainly because of their lead female singer. With three EPs - Cities Built on Sand, Perceptions, and the self-titled release and their debut album, Fixed at Zero, which was released last year, this band is one to keep up with!

In a joint effort, Blake and Sierra describe their sound as "Spacey-pop" paired with "intergalactic invasions Rock" -- Intriguing right!?
Touring all over the place these days, the 4-year old band can be found on THE AP TOUR and the UK EURO INVASION this spring a summer! Look out for them at a city near you!

And... What do the band-mates hope their listeners will take away from their music, Front lady Sierra shared with Chelsea, "I hope that they take away that they are not alone and their not the only ones who feel like their lost in the world and don't know what they want to be or what their after or where they should go with their lives. Because it's easy to discover you just kinda have to block out the distractions. And I hope it inspires everyone to realize their potential."
